I am a mom to one adorable daughter and soon a baby boy in July 2011. I have a wonderful husband who immigrated to the United States on 2007 and who is now fulfilling his dreams of being a computer programmer. I am a working mommy who teaches elementary music to approxiamently 500 wonderful students and supports my family of soon to be 4 on my one income. My hobby is saving money with coupons and leading a healthy lifestyle (after a weight loss of 75 pounds).
I put this blog together to help my family and friends understand how to save money using coupons. Everyone was asking me what am I doing and it was to hard to explain to everyone. This is why I run my coupon blog is to simple help others. I love the part about couponing and donating to others. When I pass the food bank on Tuesday with a long line I realize times are tough and donating is crucial in helping building our communites as a better place.
One Luv,

Hey CSM!
I am VERY fortunate and receive the Smart Shopper, Red Plum, P&G and all those coupon leaflets for free. I get the free local paper and another “just ads” paper, plus lots more in my mailbox. I don’t often use many of the coupons I receive. The things I usually buy don’t generally get coupons. We don’t have kids, we don’t eat anything prepackaged (except cheese), and I buy all my household needs at CostCo when THEY have a coupon. SOOOOO, my question is, what can I do with all these extra coupons? Is there some kind of swap? Can I just mail them all to some cause? Can I just mail them to you? I don’t mind spending the price of a stamp to help someone else out, especially since I don’t have to pay for papers to get the coupons. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

Hey Jill,
! So Here are some ideas:
I think I will write this on my blog wall but here are ways to donate coupons. I would love your coupons but am well enough off that I don’t need them
I could come up with a swap place on here if anyone would like to swap coupons. Not sure if it would work. My coworker has put coupon baskets in are lunchroom lounge and it seems to be working. I give all my coupons I don’t use to the military (the nice thing is they can used expired coupons). Here are some tips: To donate the coupons, be sure they are dated with at least two weeks before they expire since it may take time to get them to the users. Determine which charity, organization you would like to donate to. Local churches and frugal groups and needy families in your area. (I know someone at our YMCA leaves coupons by the mirror in the ladies locker room. There usual gone within a day!) Consider donating pet food and accessory coupons to local humane shelters and especially pet rescue centers. Many of these locations are desperate for pet food at a low cost and may be able to use them. If not, they may be able to give the coupons to those that need them to care for animals. Donate coupons to the military. Overseas military can use expired coupons for any products or services they need. US military bases have commissionaires will take expired coupons overseas. Here is what I do for the military: go to the Military Family Coupon Project and the Overseas Coupon Program to find out more.
Tips for organizing your expired coupons:
(1) Be sure to cut the coupons (i.e. do not send the whole insert with all the junk pages); this will help reduce the postage costs for you
(2) Divide the coupons into 2 plastic bags with the following labels: Food and Non-Food
(3) Do not send internet coupons as families overseas already have access to these coupons
